warranty + returns

WARRANTY

As a consumer, you are entitled to a replacement or a refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

We offer a 12 month structural warranty on furniture and a 12 month warranty on lighting against any defects in manufacturing and material under normal use from the date of dispatch.

Our warranty does not cover the following:

  • If our lighting is not installed by a licenced electrician and is not used within the correct voltage supply

  • Deliverables lost or damaged in transit

  • Globes or other light sources

  • General wear and tear or natural ageing of material used within the product

  • Damaged caused by spills such as cleaning agents, solvents or paints

  • Any costs of de-installation, re-installation or rectification

To apply for a warranty claim, please contact Ben-Tovim Design in writing with details of the fault or defect. Ben-Tovim Design must receive and accept a warranty claim prior to goods being returned. Proof of purchase must be supplied by consumers to receive a refund. It is the responsibility of consumers to pay for freight of returned items. If the goods are deemed to be faulty, Ben-Tovim Design will reimburse consumers for freight costs.

Ben-Tovim Design will not be liable for claims that are directly or indirectly beyond its control, including handling and installation by a third party, or product usage or modification outside of intended use.

Ben-Tovim Design reserves the right to provide repair and replacement of parts free of charge at our discretion.

 

REFUNDS + CANCELLATIONS

As most of our products are made to order, we generally do not provide a refund if you change your mind on an order.

Any offer of a refund will be made at the discretion of Ben-Tovim Design

Unless faulty or flawed, Ben-Tovim Design cannot offer refunds on custom designs or custom variations on products.

In the case of faults or flaws in custom designs and variations, Ben-Tovim Design will replace or repair goods within a reasonable period subject to production schedules.
